Stories, ideas, and perspectives shaped by curiosity.
I write to explore stories, ideas, and perspectives that capture the complexity of being human. Each book is an opportunity to discover something new, ask a different question, or see the familiar in a new way.

About Me
About Mukthahar
I am Mukthahar Shaik, an author who writes about life, people, and the ideas that stay with us. I am interested in the stories behind everyday experiences — the choices we make, the relationships we build, the emotions we carry, and the questions we often leave unanswered.
I believe every person has a story shaped by their experiences, choices, and the way they see the world. Writing gives me a way to explore those stories, understand different perspectives, and turn thoughts into something readers can connect with.
I want my writing to be simple, meaningful, and honest — the kind of writing that makes readers think, feel, and perhaps see something familiar from a different perspective.

PublishedThe Forgotten Present
A reflection on time, memory, and the life happening now.
We often find ourselves caught between two places — the past we cannot change and the future we cannot predict. In that struggle, the present can quietly pass us by.
The Forgotten Present explores the relationship between memory, regret, ambition, and the present moment. It asks a simple but difficult question: what happens when we spend so much of our lives looking back at what was and forward to what might be that we fail to notice the life unfolding in front of us?
Story Focus
A novel about how memory, regret, and everyday choices shape the present.
Reader Promise
Thoughtful, reflective storytelling for readers who want meaning beyond plot.

Why I Write
Why I Write
I believe a good story does more than entertain. It can make us stop for a moment and see something we thought we already understood from a different perspective.
Sometimes writing is about answering questions. Sometimes it is about asking better ones.
I am drawn to stories that stay with you after you've finished reading — not necessarily because they gave you every answer, but because they made you think about your own life, choices, relationships, and the passage of time.
That is the kind of writing I hope to create.
Journey
My Journey as a Writer
My journey into writing began with a simple curiosity about people, life, and the experiences that often go unnoticed. Over time, that curiosity grew into a desire to put those thoughts into words and create something that others could connect with.
Writing became more than putting ideas on a page. It became a way to explore questions about life, understand different perspectives, and turn ordinary experiences into stories and reflections.
The journey has been one of learning, experimenting, and discovering my own voice as a writer.
With every story, I hope to create something that stays with the reader — perhaps a thought, a question, or a feeling that continues long after the final page.
